If you look at the change in carbon dioxide level over the last 400,000+ years, it has been within the last 25,000 years where it has raised the most. Yes, there are trends that show the levels increasing and decreasing over the previous time periods but within the last 25,000 years they have only been increasing. (NOAA Mauna Loa CO2 record) From the point of the industrial revolution we have only seen an increase in carbon dioxide levels
